Carrot Rice

  • 1 whole Carrot
  • 1 tsp Parsley (dried)
  • 1.5 tsp Broth (powder)
  • .5 Onion*
  • 2 cloves Garlic*
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 425 ml Water
  • 150 g Rice (.75 cup)
  1. Directions:

  2. Dice carrot finely. Chop onions and garlic. Place water, carrot pieces, parsley, broth, onion and garlic powder, and butter in a small pot and bring to a boil. Add rice. Cook with lid on for 14-20 minutes on low medium heat until water is gone and rice is tender.
  3. *It also works to use powdered onion and garlic with the following measurements instead:
  4. .5 TL onion powder
  5. .25 TL Garlic powder
