Hearty German Soup

  • 3 Bowls:

  • 40 g Soup Noodles (For ex. Vermicelli or Egg Noodles)
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 750 ml Water
  • 3 tsp Broth Powder (dried)
  • 1 small Carrot
  • 1 tbsp Celery or Chives
  • .75 tsp Sugar
  • .5 tsp Onion Powder (dried)
  • .5 tsp Parsley (dried)
  • .25 tsp Turmeric Powder (dried)
  • .125 tsp Garlic Powder (dried)
  • .125 tsp Mustard
  • .125 tsp Pepper
  1. Directions:

  2. Peel and julienne carrot. Finely chop celery (or chives).
  3. Heat a pot with olive oil. Add carrot and fry for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring liquid to a boil. Once it boils, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes with lid on.
  4. * Tip! Prepare the spices (for a quick soup in advance) and leave it in a container for later before you get sick.
