Piadine (Skillet Bread)

  • 175 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 7 tbsp Water

  2. Mix together ingredients. Knead for a few minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, covered, for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat flat skillet over medium heat. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and roll each into an 18 cm/7 in circles. Roll out as thinly as possible. Cover until ready to cook.
  4. Lightly oil bread and place on skillet, cooking for about 2 minutes, or until piadine starts to brown. Turn over and cook for a further 1-1/2 minutes.
